Torrent of Typhoons Hit Vietnam

IN PICTURES: Since the beginning of this year, at least 240 have died due to natural disasters, namely floods and landslides.

Typhoon Damrey hit Vietnam with unbelievable force, damaging more than 40,000 homes, tearing down electricity poles and ripping trees out by the roots.

Per the most recent report from the Vietnam search and rescue committee, the death toll has reached 69 from the onslaught of landslides, floods, and boats capsizing at sea, succumbing to the sheer force of the storm.
