Guatemalans Demand Resignation of President Morales

IN PICTURES: Thousands of Guatemalans marched in the capital and other cities demanding the resignation of President Jimmy Morales, who deployedKaibil special forces to safeguard a session of parliament celebrating the 197th anniversary of independence from the Spanish Monarchy.

Morales called for national unity and respect of sovereignty, in reference to the UN-backed anti-graft commission investigating him on corruption accusations.
