Andres Campo was found guilty of murdering a cooperating witness in U.S. investigation into Florida-Colombia arms trafficking.

After deliberating for five hours on Friday, 12 jurors found international arms dealer Andres Campo, 26, guilty of murder.

Campo shot and killed Erik Comesana in a Miami-Dae warehouse. Comesana's burnt body was found May 27, 2011.

Campo killed Comesana three days before the victim planned to plead guilty in a gun-trafficking case. Comesana agreed to a legal deal to testify against Campo and his Miami weapons trade business. Comesana was cooperating in a federal investigation into a weapons distribution network stretching from South Florida to Colombia.

The jury found Campo guilty of conspiracy, first-degree murder, obstruction of justice, firearms trafficking and unlawful possession of a weapon. Campo's sentencing hearing is scheduled for November 13.

The arms dealer faces life imprisionment for the murder charges in addition to five to 10 years for weapons charges.

Carlos Rios, Campo's associate in the murder, pleaded guilty and is currently serving a life sentence.
