A Turkish plane with 162 passengers on board went off the track on Saturday night and was trapped on a slope in the city of Trabzon, local media reported.
None of the passengers was injured in the accident. The Boeing 737-800 of the Turkish airline Pegasus and coming from Ankara skidded on landing in Trabzon, a coastal city of the Black Sea.
The governor of Trabzon, Yücel Yavuz, explained that investigations to determine the causes of the accident were already underway. Pegasus Airlines said in a statement that the aircraft "had a runway excursion incident" as it landed, but the 162 passengers and crew were unhurt.
