The Faithful of Chile and Peru Get Ready for Pope's Arrival

IN PICTURES: The faithful of Chile and Peru are readying themselves for the arrival of Pope Francis, head of the Catholic Church, next week as the pontiff embarks on a brief Latin American tour.

The first Latin American pope made his inaugural overseas trip as pontiff to Brazil four months after his election in March 2013. 

He has since visited Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Mexico, Cuba and Colombia, and is due to travel to Peru on January 18 after arriving in Chile January 15.
