Red Sox fans in Boston have unfurled a huge banner that read: "Racism Is As American As Baseball" over the Green Monster, a gigantic field wall in Fenway Park.

Fascism is Undeniably American
The banner hung for just a few minutes between the third and fourth innings of the Athletics-Red Sox game. Security then removed the banner and escorted the four people who held the banner away.
Red Sox came under fire in May when Orioles outfielder Adam Jones said fans hurled racial slurs at him, calling Jones the N-word and throwing a bag of peanuts at him.

"A disrespectful fan threw a bag of peanuts at me,'' Jones said, "I was called the N-word a handful of times tonight. Thanks. Pretty awesome," Jones told the USA Today.
"It's unfortunate. The best thing about myself is that I continue to move on, and still play the game hard. Let people be who they are. Let them show their true colors."
