Venezuelan's Head to the Polls Again in Municipal Elections

Venezuelans will go to polls once again, this time to elect municipal official from around the country.

The governing United Socialist Party of Venezuela, or Psuv, won 18 of the 23 states during the Oct. 15 regional elections, despite predictions of significant opposition gains.

The vote followed the July 30 Constituent Assembly elections, which came on the heels of months of violent opposition protests left over 100 people dead.
