UN Day Against Racism

Every year on March 21, the U.N. marks the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The global crisis of capitalism, refugee crises and consequent rise to power of right-wing and hard-right forces across the globe highlights the importance of combating racism, white supremacy and the scapegoating of migrants, as well as the attempts to pit people against one another on the base of ethnicity, color, and nationality.
