Chile: Protesters March Against Pardon of Human Right Abusers

Displaying images of missing persons, protesters took to street against the Supreme Court's decision to grant parole to human right abusers during Chilean dictatorship, in Valparaiso, Chile August 1, 2018. 

Earlier in June, President Sebastian Piñera issued a pardon for former colonel Rene Cardemil, who was convicted for crimes against humanity, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for executing six people in October 1973.
